13. The Locust and Darkness Plagues (Exodus 10: 3 - 6)

The Starter

God brought down the locust and darkness plagues to Egypt. However, they didn't only happen then but also in other times as described below.

I will restore to you the year that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. (Joel 2: 25)

Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and in irons, for they had rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High. (Psalms 107: 10)

Without knowing it, we are also suffering from the locust and darkness plagues. Is there a way out of the plagues for us? If so, then how?
